One of a Kind!

Destination: Marrakech, Morocco

Amid the traditional horizontal and vertical bands of this hand-woven mid-Atlas kilim, the repeating motifs of the eight-pointed star make a striking centerpiece. Local poppy, pomegranate and saffron dyes have given this hand-woven mid-Atlas kilim its distinctive color. The rich red of the carpet is the strongest of the Berber colors, believed to evoke strength and power.
