• They say that Kente cloth was born after a couple of boys from Bonwire got weaving lessons from a spider. While we can’t comment on the veracity of that story, we can tell you that Bonwire, a weaving village just about 40 minutes south of Kumasi, is without a doubt the best place to go in Ghana for quality Kente.
