The three hundred foot neo-Byzantine Sukiennice, or Cloth Hall, stands at the center of Krakow’s main market square. During its golden age, in the 15th century, the hall was the place to go for exotic imports from the Silk Road and the place for merchants to export Krakow’s famous textiles and salt.
