One of a Kind!

Destination: Hanoi, Vietnam

Basa, or catfish, are some of the most popular fish in Vietnam. Mixed with turmeric, dill, shrimp paste and fish sauce they are used to create Hanoi’s famous Cha Ca dish. Here the basa shape is carved into a delicate cookie mold, ready to be pressed into celebratory Vietnamese moon cakes. This scaly mold is great for any kind of baking and the hook makes it perfect for hanging up in your kitchen as a piece of functional art.
