From the creamy, corn-based atole to their famously frothy hot chocolate, Oaxaca has a wide variety of delicious beverages. Of course, exquisite elixirs deserve to be served in beautiful vessels, which is why we picked up these blue and white ceramic mugs with their neat square shape. Purchased in Oaxaca’s Mercado Abastos, they were made in the state of Hidalgo, home to the famous Mexican ceramics company Anfora. Anfora’s signature colors are blue and white and these pretty mugs were no doubt inspired by their much sought-after wares.
