The design of this pretty tote is associated with weddings. The symbol is that of “double happiness,” formed by compressing two copies of , the Chinese character for “joy,” while the sparrows represent good luck. It was made using a stencil cut by our friend Ray Tan Aik Leng, a second-generation Malaysian, whose grandfather came over from China.
