Marking the beginning of Krakow’s Royal Road, Florianska street stretches from Rynek Glowny square, through Krakow’s Old Town, to St. Florian’s Gate (a surviving monument to the ancient defenses that one circled the city). The cobble-stoned medieval street is one of Krakow’s most storied and the many of the townhouses have facades featuring age-old murals and inscriptions. Our personal favorite is the House of the Squirrel.
