Hand-woven by the Imazighen women of the Azilal province in the mid-Atlas Mountains, this striking monochromatic vintage rug is created with natural wool fibers from the tribe’s black and white sheep. Not only does the plush, densely woven rug offer warmth and comfort, it also serves an amuletic function as the Berbers believe the diamond represents protection for the home against evil spirits.
