According to Berber wisdom, the blues and reds of this hand-loomed and hand-woven vintage kilim from the Zaire tribe in Morocco’s mid-Atlas region evoke both wisdom and strength. The concentric diamond 'eye' motifs at the carpet’s center depict the eye and are thought to represent both the origin of concrete vision and the inner vision of divine knowledge.
