• Mombasa, Kenya

The humble Old Town is where the city began, and this is where a diverse group of people have co-existed for hundreds of years.  Along the narrow streets, many vendors are seated along the sidewalks, where they sell fresh produce under the blaring sun.  Limes are used as a fragrant flavoring.  Cherimoya is considered to be one of the best-tasting fruits in the world.
