• Head down Calle Ecuador, and you’re in the vicinity of Plaza España, one of Sopacachi’s two main squares, where you can find these twin Cholita Power emblems A “cholita” is an indigenous Bolivian woman who wears a very distinctive style of dress, the most notable element of which may be the mini-bowler hat. Personally, we’re rooting for the mini-bowler hat to become the next big fashion trend. Apparently the Mona Lisa, pictured here copping some cholita style of her own, is too.
