• Zapiekanki in Krakow, Poland

Less historically significant, that osypek and obwarzanek but no less loved, are Krakow’s zapiekanki baguette-style ‘pizzas’. Sold from the rotunda in Plac Nowy square these twelve-inch toasted numbers are topped with your choice of cheese, mushrooms, ham and onions and are the perfect snack after a night out in the bohemian neighborhood of Kazimierz.
