• Monks at the Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon, Burma

The Shwedagon Pagoda exudes a magnetism that is inescapable. It seems to have the power to draw you back over and over. During a second visit, this group of what could have been novice or newly honored monks seemed to have just finished a Buddhist blessing. They paused to put their hands together and quiet their racing eyes, but not their swift hearts.
